I would like to build my own servo drive that uses step and direction as the control signal. I would like to use a H bridge design. I would like to use mosfets. I will need this drive to control servo motors at around 6-10 amps. I would like to know more about using feedback. I can send it back to the pc or the the drive. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions. Thank you for your help and hope to hear your ideas. |

Why would you even consider building a servo drive when you can buy one with 20 Amp capability and step and direction inputs for less money than you can purchase the individual components? Sounds like re-inventing the wheel for the twentieth time. Check out the Gecko 320 and 340 units at www.geckodrive.com Jerry |
