I have a Philips capacitor here with 4 terminals instead of the normal + and - terminals I see referenced. They are labeled 1, 2, 3 and 5. Any clue how to connect these?  |

| Sorry, but no camera handy. I may have finally answered my own question however. See http://www.okaphone.com/artikel.asp?id=454211. Hover over the image for a datasheet. Odd to have two unused terminals. Would also be nice if it were in English! Part number is 2222-051-5803. |

| They appear to be single value, I suspect they either have common terminals, can be checked with a meter, or they supply a couple of tabs to help secure the cap. to a printed circuit. Al.

| Hello Travis, I hope this datasheet will help http://www.vishay.com/docs/28346/051pecpw.pdf BCComponents was part of Philips but Vishay acquired BCcomponents in December 2002. |

| I tried it with just pins 1 and 5 as shown on the schematic and it worked OK. Thanks for looking. |
