I'm doing my first automated project. Bought a GAlil CDS 3310 controller and thought I would purchase the power supply locally. Unfortunately, I live in a "have not" region. I need to source a 72 vdc power supply for the controller and servo motor. Just too many types available on the net. Can anyone narrow the choices down a little for me? |

| Maybe consider putting one together, there is a guy that sells toroids on ebay of various voltages, you would then need a bridge rectifier and electrolytic capacitor. The AC will depend on what final DC you need, the 3310 takes from 18 to 72vdc, but it will be decided on what your servo motor is. If you go this route, the AC out of the Tfmr will be .7 x required DC, e.g. 72vdc would require around 50v ac secondary. Al.

| The power (voltage/current) of the supply will be decided by what motor you are running, it will take brushed or BLDC at 10amps peak. Al.
