Does anyone know if someone has converted a standard 2hp router motor to a variable speed control run through Mach 3? I just think it would be far more convient to be able to change the speed in G-Code rather than stop the program to adjust the speed on the motor itself. |

| I had been thinking of the same thing myself. With all the rave reviews of the Hitachi MV12, although you wouldn't need to stop the motor, software control could be handy. It is just a potentiometer on this model. Seems like an analog signal would be capable of conversion some how. But more out of convenience than necessity if no tool changer is used. DC
