| I believe what he means is that your power supply has a + plus and a - negative terminal......so, you must insure that the negative terminal on your supply also goes to the negative terminal on the CNC4PC card.....otherwise you won't have a ground reference....does that make sense to you? |

| Yep, that's it. All the external 24, 5 and/or 12v external P/S's have to be tied to the ground terminal of the parallel port. This way, they are all generating the designated voltage potential from the same ground reference point. |
