I would like to give a big thumbs up to Arturo Duncan of www.CNC4PC.com . I ordered a multifunction board from him and had no issues with deleivery, I had a few questions before ordering and he walked me through all of it. After getting the board i was puzzled on what went were but Arturo cleared them up also. I can't wait to get it all wired and running. The only down fall, and he is working on it now, is the lack of a clear wiring schematic. I am in no way affiliated with this company just a happy customer trying to give the homebrew guys another avenue to order parts. |

| My current Bridgeport CNC system consists of three individual boards from cnc4pc - a BOB, a spindle speed board and a fused output board. No problems at all with any of them. I am very impressed with his products and support and I am planning to use his stuff again when I get around to building my router. (no affiliation - just a happy customer) Scott

| Basic Facts on setting up C10 board: Requires external 5 VDC supply Requires 5 VDC to enable pin Board has pull-down resistors instead of pull-up. Requires proper signals from parallel printer port (not serial port). |

| i too have ordered from cnc4pc, i got the optoisolated breakout, and the spindle speed control. Both arrived very quickly (im in UK), work great, and look to have been made well. frankg521: as cjl5585 said, it would be interesting to know what problems you had? |

Questions: What method did you use to determine that there was an input to the breakout board? What CNC software are you using? Turbocnc, Mach, etc.? What computer and what operating system? Do you have a multimeter and know how to use it? The above questions are very important in determining the problem you are encountering. |

| Well i'm sorry but you can't come in here and say that the board is junk without something to back it up. As far as we all know it could be user error and the board is working perfectly fine. Everyone is just trying to help. |

| I have not seen any willingness on your part to give ANY information relating to your setup, so this indicates to me that you do not want any help. A new or different breakout board will most likely have the same results that you are seeing with this board since all it does is isolate the signal and amplify the signal to a true 5 volt TTL logic level. I believe the problem most likely is in the logic level inputs, but I am sure that a serious problem exists because it shows up in your posts. Last edited by CJL5585; 11-29-2006 at 12:17 PM.
