I,m about ready to assemble my manual mill project, and for the spindle motor I was looking at a DC motor and a dc controller. The DC controller says its is 115 vac in and upto 180 vdc out. My question is can I hook 110 ac straight into the dc controller or do I need a dc power supply? |

| If it says 115ac in it usually means that it has a built in power supply, so it is self contained, it is always best to obtain the manual on the drive anyway. Al.
