Amp Alarm

Just bought a Matchmaker 700 cnc vert. mill with Heidenhain 155.wired it up switched on and up pops "X amp Alarm" pressed CE and I get Y Amp Alarm then Z Amp Alarm.
can anyone help ?I need this thing working ASAP.the machine was working(according to the guy I bought it from) before it was loaded on a lorry and shipped to me (about 25 miles) if there is anyone out there who can advise or travel to Dundee to fix it please email or fax / call 01382 889990

looks like I will have to start the ball rolling with part of the answer to this:-
cause --a) over current (b) undervoltage (c) short circuit(motor) (d)rack overtemperature.

Heidenhain are often used with 3rd party drives so what kind of drives are they? do they have a run light or ony indication on them? If they all show an error it sounds like the common power to the drives is missing.
I'm tied up this weekend or I would drop over.

Thanks AL,yes they all show the same fault code I'll get in the back with a meter 1st thing monday

same fault "Amp alarm " with SPINDLE OFF and ATC AUTO lights flashing and the machine manual has a hand written note by the previous owner "BRAKE OFF PB FAULT "
