CNC Foam cutting HELP!!! I hope I am in the right place???
I am lookig for help with a home built foam cutter and would like some guidance in choosing a 4 axis control for unipolar stepper motors. As this is being home bulit I would like to keep the cost as low as possible. Any and I mean ANY help would be very great full. The steppers I am using are 5volt 1amp .9degree steppers.

Sounds a lot like wire edm requirements.
First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.
