We have developed a few unusual uses for the Pixie P100 step and direction to analog controller (www.skyko.com). Not your typical uses for cnc electronics, but very fun!
One application is a haunted Ouija board which uses servo motors to move a planchette that spells out messages programmed into the control computer (buried inside the coffee table). My favorite message is "Drink your Ovaltine"
The other application is a 2 person theme park type haunted house amusement ride which uses two geared wheelchair drive type servo motors and the Pixie controller to navigate a course surrounded by various stationary and animated props. A laptop is used to generate the step and direction signals to move the buggy around.
