Today I picked up some SK3635 SCR’s not think... and thinking that they where just plan jane diodes. There rated for 200v 35a and Im wondering.. can I just tie the gate to the input voltage and use them as plan jane diodes for the rectifier? |

| I show them rated for 8amps, they require max 30ma gate current to turn on if you use them. Al.
