Hi I`d like to setup a tachometer to check my spindle speed. It would be fun to do a electronics project but unforunately I have too many projects. Does anyone know what components can be purchased to make a tachometer. I`ve seen the non-contact versions on ebay but would perfer something that does not require handholding. I just remembered I have a DC servo and it has a tachometer built-in, is this adaptable for my applcation. Regards, Barry |

| Check out Red Lion Instruments. Many tachometers and counters of various sorts that can be bolted on... They have the timing wheels, too, and the inductive pickups that you'll need to make a non-contatcting tach and/or counter. |
