Looking to buy a breakout board to go along with my gecko 212's and my in progress cnc router and I need help selecting one. Candidates are: CNC4PC Bob Campbell Any pros or con's to either? I am looking to run home and limit swithches as well as being able to control 2 on / off relays via code (spindle on / off and dust collector on / off). Does anyone know of a manufacture that makes relays to handle larger loads? The ones that CNC4PC makes only handle up to 10 amps and my router is more (PC 7518). Thanks all. Dan

| for the spindle and dust collector: i think your best bet would be solid state relays. you can get these to handle 75 amp for about $10-15 at surplus electronic stores, here on the net. as for break out boards: if you can get one that has bus drivers on your data lines, a low voltage or the lack of turn on current won't be a problem. |

| Check out the one at this site. I bought one but have yet to install it. They have a lot of options for a good price. http://www.candcnc.com/ |
