| i am new to the cnc world but i am worling out on building a cnc machine i have done research but am a bit confused with the controls if i am right you need 3 stepper motors for each axis a stepper motor control board and a powere supply and soft ware |

| You need a stepper motor for each axis, a power supply capable of supplying the necessary voltage and current, electonics to interface from the computer parallel port to the motors.
