Breakout Board Operations Questions

Well, I got me a breakout board and power supply from cnc4pc. Did all the wiring according to insructions and schematics. Added the enable switch as per directed. I ran the Gecko's directly to the board bypassing the port plug on the control box. Pluged all the power cords to a strip turned on the power. I tried to make motor axis trial runs and all I got was a buzzing. Any help as to where I went wrong. I have Gecko 201's. Before I did all this the machine ran well in all direction, what up here. HELP anybody
