I think a saw a thread somewhere that discussed making handwheel controls using just a few basic encoders. Has anybody had any experience or suggestions for doing something like this? Seems like it would be a fairly simple thing to do through the serial port the joy stick is usually hooked up to. I'm using Mach1 and have yet to hook up a joy stick while I'm tested my motors so I'm not sure how well a joy stick works. Haven't found out if the speed is easy to control, etc. I appreciate anyones help with this. Thanks, Doug |
