    Question about current limit

    hi,
I want to build current limit for stepper motor driver using comparator, and i have some question :
Should I use flip flop with outbot of comparator?
What is the frequency that comes out of the comparator?
What should I do if the frequency of the pc (step signals) higher than the frequency of the comparator?

    thanks

Here's some information about limiting stepper motor current by using a sense resistor voltage and the pic reference voltage, with an internal pic comparator, to turn the output off and on when limiting.

Look near bottom of page for chopper current limiting.
