    Vacuum pump wiring

    Hello all,

The morbidelli U46 has come to the point of wiring up the vacuum table and all controls included. I have collected the majority of parts needed...that I know of...and sent a rough diagram of what I am doing to get some feedback on what I missed or what I should also include for ease of use. If the electrical experienced out there can give me a little help it would be much appreciated.
Im not to sure how the push button switches work and what type I should use for this application.

    Thanks
    Wade

    Vacuum Pump control wiring

Here you have, i drew the wiring for you.
Before motor contactor you can add an overcurrent protector
( autofuse or 3 pcs fuses ) if needed. Fuse current about 2.5 x motor nominal current.

    Regards

As stated, you need some overcurrent protection somewhere. I would recommend a thermal overload relay in additon to your magnetic contactor.

Also, why do you have a relay switching a relay? Just go straight from your pushbutton to the magnetic contactor.

Thank you very much kak111. That helps me out a lot. I'm going to go over it in detail tonight.
The reason I want to go with a double relay system is that the vacuum pump is going to be farther from the router than the main cabinet, and I thought running low voltage to a relay in the vacuum pump enclosure would be better since I have 220 in the vacuum pump enclosure all ready. If this is not the way it is done let me know, I want the electrical to be up to standards for safety of the users and the equipment.
When I order the switches what do I ask for? An illuminated green, on/off locking 24volt pushbutton? Does it have to be NO and only single pole?
    Thanks

In Vacuum Pump control_01.pdf is more electrically safe low voltage 24Vdc control circuit
( isolated from the mains voltage )
    in this wiring.....
An illuminated green, on/off locking pushbutton
latching (push on – push off)
    Lamp voltage 24Vdc
Switch contacts 125Vdc or higher / 1A or higher

In Vacuum Pump control_02.pdf is direct 220V line voltage control circuit.
    in this wiring....
An illuminated green, on/off locking pushbutton
latching (push on – push off)
    Lamp voltage 220Vac
Switch contacts 250Vac or higher / 1A or higher
