    Current amplifier

    Hi all,

Basically I need 300-900ma (12/24V) to drive a controllable solenoid.

Is there a standard amplifier that I can use for this purpose? (Inputs can be potential input or 0-10VDC)

Alternatively I can go for an amplifier circuit which amplifies the standard 4-20ma.

    Thanks.

It sounds like you have a servo valve or ?
I have used a simple LM759 power Op amp.
But generally you also need a feedback to the ±10vdc controller.
