Does anyone have a formula for calculating inductance for a choke using number of turns and cross section. I will be using an old torroid core as a form for the choke. Thanks.

| L=(n^2) x Mu x S / l l, Length of magnetic material (m) S, cross section of magnetic material m^2 Mu, permeaibility of magnetic material n, number of turns If you have a inductance and if you know the value of inductance and turn numbers. (these L1 and n1) If you want the L2 inductance, n2=n1* sqr(L2/L1) |
