Has anyone added a 4 way manual switch to a Buck stove? The original wiring has a SPDT switch. When up the thermostat controls the fan 3 speed and when down, the fan is on high. (attached original wiring diagram from buckstove.com) I added a 4 way switch to allow me to control the 3 speed in manual. (Switch has OFF position plus 3 "throws"). I wired as shown in second picture. It does everything what I want, but not how I expected. The new switch does not work with the SPDT in down like I expected. The fan is off in this position no matter where I position the 4 way. With the SPDT up, I can use the new 4 way switch to control 3 manual speeds. Off position on the 4 way allows the thermostat to control all three. I would like to know if anyone else has tried this. Bill |

| Where in the lower post of the toggle originally went to the end point of the high block is now tied to the upper post of the toggle and side of the high block. Nothing is on the end of the high block? I'm thinking the 9 o'clock post of the 4 way should have went to the high block end directly as original.
