hey guys, I am also a 375 extreme owner looking for the same answers. This is what I have found out... You have to open up the machine and splice in to the wires going to the torch head...here is a video (not with the 375, but with a lincoln) http://www.youtube.com/watchv=kxhYKa...76A3A1A0D74AA3 I am trying to find out if the 375 extreme has "arc ok", and it appears that it does not (this is a feature on larger machines). For torch height control that doesn't break the bank I was looking at http://www.candcnc.com/LCTHC.html They offer an extra add on for machines without the "arc ok" feature for $18. I've checked ebay for cheaper solutions and not so far. This "black box" works directly with MACH3. If you don't know what mach is yet, keep reading the forums, you'll find out. Many here on the forum will say the 375 is underpowered for cnc, but one guy on youtube hooked it up to a plasmacam here: keep me posted if you get better answers. |
