Who is Using "CNC4PC" Products?

Hi Guys

Anyone using "CNC4PC" Products? They look well designed and seem to be priced right. I have been thinking about getting some of these products and wanted to hear how they have been working out? Interested in your opinions? Thanks for your help.

I have a C1 card...the optoisolated one, that I use for the drivers, and another C10...the bidirectional one, that I use for extra inputs/outputs. Mach3 supports two parallel cards with the second having options for multiple inputs. Both C1 and C10 are 5VDC buffered. Without this buffer, none of my home/limit switches would work because I have extended cable lengths.
Arturo says he will be coming out with a new design in a few weeks.

those cards are in this machine that I'm just completing:

Been using the C1 for ages,
Never had a problem with it and it does thae same as some costing 4 times the price.
I don't know what support is like personally as i have never needed it, the documentation is fine.

I got the C1, not tested yet. Good PCB and layout, but the soldering work is obviously hand made. No complaint at all by now.

Thumbs down

I had many problems with their parallel port interface, it was a real pain.
My motors would only spin in one direction, all kinds of signal noise problems too!

All of the stuff I got from them is for sale on eBay right now! (sold)

I found a smaller footprint 12VDC power supply from Moused.com
Then I bought an LPT interface with a Charge pump from Bob Campbell
http://www.campbelldesigns.com/breakout-board.php
Much better quality, it has LED's for everything, and includes a relay onboard for other controls. Works perfectly with Gecko's & Mach software!

It has been my experience that cheap is not always good!

I have a breakout board and 2 index cards, the breakout board works pretty good so far, not having any problems with it. The tac that I have hooked up to my mill is not, I have not had time to investigate it but I am no longer getting anything from it, It did show signs of dieing, the rpm would jump up and down for about an hour before it totally quit.

I have used the other one in my lathe for such things as threading and it does work pretty good.
