| I have a 1981 Excello cnc mill that I am going to power up soon,my question is that it has a 3 phase autotransformer that has been added to it,and the transformer is a 9kva 60hz HV/HT 230 LV/BT 208 is this transformer for 208 volts in and transforms it to 230 volts out because my power is already 240 volts so Im wondering if I can just skip using the transformer and wire it direct to the main disconect? Thanks Mike |

| The 3ph auto transformer is not going to be much good to you on 1 phase, or are you on 3ph now, you could use it if you are on 240v 1 ph but you may as well go direct. However, how do you intend to power the 3 phase spindle, unless it already has a drive or VFD? Al.

| You should be able to run it off the RPC, is this a 602 or larger? Al.
