| Is it possible to use a 110v to 220v transformer to power a VFD for a HF spindle? Is there any issues or power loss with it? I have a 1.5kw chinese spindle and the VFD is 220v single phase in and 3 phase out. If I can, how to calculate the KVA ammount of this transformer? I will have to do so much work to get a 220v outlet to the place that my machine is that I bet it will be cheaper to get a transformer... Thanks to all in advance |

| When the transformer is sized correctly there is no noticeable difference. Al.
