Hello,
Here in the UK, we are no longer allowed to use wire solder containing lead. I love tin/lead solder and have used it since the age of eight, a few years ago. It flows well on the tip of the iron and makes a good joint quickly. My problem is that I have to make fifty thru-hole boards in a bit of a hurry, and need to choose a solder wire that flows well without lead, some of which have been horrible to use in the past.
Can any of you kind people give some suggestions?
Thank-you
Edit: We will clean the boards with Safewash. It has worked well in the past
Edit: with an ultrasonic bath. Here is the Safewash link...
