| Hi everyone! I mistakenly applied 10.7V to the pin 63 (Reset) instead of sinking it to 0 (zero) volt, for a split second. Now the red LED is ON all the time and I can no longer communicate with the board. However it still has the same voltage reading that it used to have on all the 96 pins, except the X, Y, Z & W Amp Enable. Which makes sense: If there is a fault, all the axes should be disabled... The reset pin goes straight to the IC U35 (see attached picture). Could anybody help me find this IC? It is smaller than a grain of rice and appears to be made by Texas Instruments. Since I overpower it, I will replace it first and go from there! Any help will be greatly appreciated! Luiz |

| Check out MAX708 micro version. http://datasheets.maxim-ic.com/en/ds/MAX705-MAX813L.pdf I have Galil boards that use the same IC and the schematic show the external reset going to this IC. Al.

Could you please sent me a copy of the schematics (Preferable DMC-2143), or let me know how I can get one? Thanks a lot!!! Luiz |

| The schematic is for an older ISA card so it won't relate to the 2143, the card had the identical IC and the print was marked MAX708. It only shows two connections to the chip, I can copy the page if you want. Al.

| By what I've seen on the board, one track goes to the pin 63 and another one goes to the GL-1800. I couldn't tell if there are any other connections... Thank you! |
