Hi Guys I was wondering how many of you that are using VFD's, mounted them inside the same electric cabinet with your servo or stepper motor controls? From what I have heard, VFD's are very noisy devices (electrically) Could this be an issue with CNC controls? Willyb |

| I have mounted up to a total of three VFD's in the same cabinet as the control. One of the most important things is to set up a common ground plate and take all PS commons to this, as well as shields and all ground conductors. Obviously keep the VFD conductors away from the control wiring as much as possible. Al.
