I've encountered a problem with my Prolight 3000 turning center. I was learning how to use the machine by cutting a few tapered spacers when the machine buried the bit resulting in a stall. I cleared the machine and then the tool turret started acting erratically. It's very jerky as it rotates and it won't home correctly. I've been told by the factory that the driver is burned out and that they need to replace it. Is this something that I can fix by replacing a chip or is it much more complicated? Thanks. |
