I am running an old escap P532 258 0.7 14 stepper. Link to specs here http://www.astrosurf.com/durey/p532.pdf (last chart down) I was running these with a G540 before but would like to install the Keling 5056D's (already have actually). I believe due to the max current output of the G540 being 3.5A I had them wired bipolar series. Now the 5056D has a maximum current of 5.6A can I or would I want to change to parallel? More speed? Torque? I am also using a 48vdc power supply if that matters. Breakout board is a Cnc4Pc C35, manual linked here http://cnc4pc.com/Tech_Docs/C35R1_1_User_Manual.pdf Last edited by Fastest1; 08-13-2011 at 08:23 AM. |
