Im currently running a g540 with mach 3 with no issues. I would like to know if I can run the warp 9 usb motion control interface with the g540 for more I/O and also is there any type of wiring schematics out there available showing these connections . Also will this help me in the long run as far as A reliability factor. I also have 2 pc parallel ports and one not in use. Any suggestions would be great ? |

| Yes. The Smoothstepper basically gives you two parallel ports. You'd just plug the G540 into one of them, and use the other for additional I/O. If the parallel port is working for you, why not just use the second one you have?

| The # 1 PP works fine with the g540 but the second one I added seems to give me some issues, I hooked up a c10 breakout board to add I/O and my pc would act funny, freeze up, not load, blue screen just figured motion controller might enhance the controller minus the second p port, at least thats what im thinking dont know that much about warp 9 product just looking for feedback and an idea to do it or not. |
