I'm getting ready to run wires from my Gecko 320x's to the servos. The servos are Electrocraft 90VDC 12A continuous & 20A peak. According to the Gecko FAQ's by Marcus:
http://www.cnczone.com/forums/gecko_...ers_servo.html This means run 16 gauge to the power on the Geckos. Then run 22 ga. wire from terminal 3 & 4 ( armature connections) to drive the servos. I'm not trying to contradict anyone, it's just that I prefer over-kill on things. Would it be better to run 14ga wire? Does it need to be shielded ? Can I just run regular stranded wire, and twist the pair inside of some flexible conduit ( separate from other wires of course)? Thanks for the info. JAckal
