Hi All I have a 115 to 12 VDC transformer taken from a PC accessory device. I`m using the transformer to power a panel LED. Near the end of the cord there is a cylindrical part attached that is approximately 1 inch in length and 5/8 in diameter. I`d like to cut the end of the cord but have no idea as to what affect the removal of the cylindrical part will have. Thanks Barry |

| That is in all probabillity a ferrite suppressor, added to some cords for noise suppression, the removal won't affect the transformer operation. Al.
