Hi, I just ordered the 4Axis TB6560, and I would like to connect it to the: Sanyo DENKI 103H548-0471. I would like to build a foam cutter CNC hotwire. I could not find any specification for it online, but it's a 6 wire NEMA17 size, and there is a 3 ohm 1.8 deg label on the back. I did find a very similiar motor spec - 103H548-0440. This motor has the exact external look, wiring, weight - 280 gram, 1.8 degrees, and impidence (3 ohm). According to the specs, this motor is running on 1.2A. Can I assume, both are the same motor? What kind of PS should I use for the chinese TB6560 (Voltage and Amp), as I have a countertop PS with V and A selection. What should the dip switch current setting? (25%, 50%, 75% or 100%). What speed (fast, 25%, 50%, slow)? What MicroStep settings? (1, 1/2, 1/8, 1/16)? Many question - I just want to be sure.... Thanks, Rony |

| There are two different boards in ebay, so called 2.5A and 3.5A. =>Current setting is depends on the stepper rating. Try with 50% and increase/decrease if the motor is getting hot. =>Decay mode is also depends on stepper spec, try with full. =>I have couple of TB6560 boards. You can try 1/8 but 1/2 works best for my boards. I see that your steppers are Unipolar but the controller is Bipolar. You can still use these steppers using half/full coil (one wire need to be unused) config...
