Hey all. First time posting here. I am in the process of restoring some electronics in a guitar amp, but I am having trouble identifying a capacitor. The resistor next to it blew, and there is some scorching on the capacitor, so I am worried that the heat has damaged the capacitor. Here's an image to help with the identification (pardon the size). Hopefully you guys can help me solve my problem. ![]() |

| I Agree on the value, but I think a ceramic would do the trick from DigiKey. Tantalum would normally have the polarity indicated. You also need to know the working voltage. Kd7rzy you need to shrink your pic's. before posting, use Irfanview or? Al.

| I did some looking around at Digikey, and came across these: Digi-Key - 399-4459-1-ND (Manufacturer - C410C153M1U5TA7200) Would those work? Thanks, Scott |

| Looks the same as the one in circuit! As long as the same value. if possible check the voltage across it when working or go by the circuit supply voltage. Al.
