    Choke for bldc

    Hi all,

New to this forum, main hobbies are welding and diy work.

My chinese milling machine has a toasted bldc card, so i'm building a new one with quality components.

I googled a lot, and really didn't find the right component, and also right way to connect it.

This is to protect igbt module from brushless dc overvoltage.....

    Power: 1500 W V bus : 340 V I rated: 4,7A

SMD value for choke is 680 µ H

I only want discrete component, not SMD

Are following components right for the job?

    See links and datasheet.

And also , how to connect these chokes?

If i decrease L value, say to 100µF , how igbt will work....

From phase to phase, phase to ground, or ?

    Thanks a lot.

    jm
