A bit of topic (but interesting) IR remote test, using a standard digital camera to view the IR light This is pretty cool. With a normal digital camera you can view the IR light from a remote control this one is for my TV. It even works in the dark so you make a IR transmitter and use your digital camera as cheep night vision. Or an easy way to test IR-LED’s. ![]() |

| j m is correct, The effect is not the IR Autofocus, I've been using my HandyCam for exactly this purpose - testing IR LED's on Robotics projects.

| Yup, most CCD imagers are very sensitive to IR...
