Need Help --- Servo motor with heds encoder

HI,

I am trying to fix an old optical eyeglass lens cutting machine called "Optronics horizon lll"

I Need a Heds 5310 endoder to attcah to the sevo motor, Im having a real hard time finding this encoder....any suggestions?

I can buy the servo motor direct from the company direct, it would cost about $900, im trying to see if there is a cheaper alternative.

The servo motor specs are.."Harowe Servo Controls -1432-003A motor 15V.D.C
gear ratio 10.0:1"

appriciate any help i can get.

Thank you

Buy me a Beer?

give us the full TI HEDS part no and we can cross it over to a new replacement EPC & Dynapar unit for you.

Interesting that the OEM can supply you a whole replacement motor as harowe (who we distribute) normally does not sell motors/gearheads/tachs anymore - just resolvers! I bet it is new old stock from OEM.

Renco may be able to help, they have a range of through hole encoders.
Here is the spec sheets on the HEDS.

Thanks for the response Mike, see below for the encoder detail, if a compatible encoder can be used , that would be awsome.

Thank you
