    Stand alone controller NO PC

Is there a stand alone servo controller and does not require a pc to operate it?
I would like to control direction and distance traveled on a one axis servo driven lead screw, simply by using a numerical keypad.
    Your help is much appreciated.

Galil stand alone cards can be had on ebay, the legacy 1500 is often listed.
These will control any 10v analogue drives such as Advanced Motion etc.
These cards also interface with the Maple systems keypad/2 line displays, also can be found on ebay.
I have done a few after market rotary tables with these.
This is one of the options that require minimum hardware design, PicMicro solution is also an option, cheaper, but requires more hardware and software design.
