I am currently trying to rework my controller box to hold my xylotex board and power supply and I am looking for a fan to cool the thing. I don't want to mess with a bunch of PC sized fans and would like to only install one with adequate CFM. Any Recomendations as to what the proper size (CFM) is? Any good sources? What can i do to help control dust entering it? Filter material of some sort? Will this decrease the CFM? I prefer a 24 volt fan so I can just hook it up to the power supply. Controller box size is about 11 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 3" if that helps. It also has a few holes in it to help with airflow, but otherwise is fully enclosed. Thanks all. Hack

| Well anything above 34 CFM is probably not useful unless you provide more exits for the air....you could get a fan that will work with a higher static pressure...well it's actually more of a blower. Mouser.com and they are about $13 new. |

| Here is a site with a lot of technical information and a large selection of fans, which might be of interest. http://www.nmbtech.com/axial_fans_bl...nt_cooling.htm |
