We have a cnc router with an A and X drive slaved together and controlled by a usbcnc controller called usbcnc cpu5 Eding CNC - PC based CNC control. When I enable the drives in the software the drives move slightly and put the machine out of alignment which I can fix by jogging at high speed. The control board maker insists it's machine tension within the cnc but it moves freely with no power. I am using leadshine drivers to control the two steppers which are 6 newtons. Wondering if anyone has any tips to fix this? Maybe change the dip switch settings on the steppers? Anytime we turn it off and on it needs to be realigned and makes an awful noise until we high speed jog it. Thanks |
