    spindle control

    hi, help i'm confused!
    i am running mach3, and would like to control the spindle with the pwm feature mach3 has, does anyone know how to do this, i assume i need a pwm board or varible dc motor controller.

    Looks like you need a DC motor controller that varies the DC voltage, and is controlled by a 0-10V signal. You'll also need a board to provide the 0-10V signal, like a Digispeed.

    I'm not an expert at this, but I think it's right.

    yes thats the spindle, so does the spindle need it's own power supply?
    like you say the boards need a 10v signal. but the spindle needs 24v-48v, where does that come from?
