Hi, i recently purchased a cnc kit from ebay for my first cnc project. this is the kit: CNC Kit 3 Axis Driver + NEMA23 Stepper Motor+ Coupling on eBay.ca (item 170523755356 end time 05-Oct-10 05:52:55 EDT) After the installation I have one big trouble, the motor connected to the X axis is not running as smoothly as the other. I know it not a problem with the motor because if i switch the connection with the Y axis, the X motor start working properly and the Y motor start having problem. I am using a 24v 10a power supply and when i check the pin I see that on the Z and Y axis when i start jugging I have a constant 12V but on the X axis it fluctuate between 9V to 13V since the current is not constant the motor skip and keep starting and stopping. I am not a guru in electronic but I have a friend who is competent enough to fix board. anyone have an idea of what the problem might be or what should I look at ? Thank you. |
