Battery Power!!

Ok, so I have a camera that is 7.5vdc @ 300ma and I have a battery that is 7.2vdc (1300mah).

What I am wondering is if I can run that camera from that battery (pretty sure I can, want to double check though)? Also, any rough ideas on how long the battery would last?

As long as the voltage is lower it should do no harm, 4x as long?

Cool, that's what I figured.

Well, the camera originally ran from an AC-Adapter that outputs the 7.5vdc @ 300ma...

Then it will probabaly be x10

If it was the simple wall-wart type, they are notoriously un-regulated and rely on a load to bring the voltage down, try it off load and see.

Yeah, that's what it was. I'll give it a shot and see. I'm hoping I can get it to run for an hour from the battery...
