Shopping 3 axis packages. Notice a package price of $345 at Xylotex versus $260 at HobbyCNC. Not only that but the HobbyCNC package comes with more components. Their board does require some soldering by the customer (not sure how much). I suppose the comparison has been pretty well studied by some of you. Can't really find anything with a search though. Xylotex mentioned that his is bipolar while the other is unipolar. Don't know what that means to me and don't know what other factors should be considered. Guess I'm looking for a bottom line preference. Don't mind one bit paying the higher of the two prices if there's a good reason to. Simply don't know enough to compare apples to apples. Appreciate any feedback. |
