Need Breakout Board Schematic

Hi guys,

I'm on the way to build new mini lathe machine for simulation using mach3.
I'd like to make breakout board DIY. But I can't find the schematic/layout design.
Does anyone can help me to build the breakout board?

Buy me a Beer?

What do you mean exactly 'for simulation' if this for testing and not actual hooking up to a machine, then you do not really need isolation and the I/O power could come from the PC 5v & 12v.
For simulating outputs a 2n7000 switch a 12vdc relay or LED would work, the 5v inputs would switch directly.
If you need an actual isolated output board then you could buffer some opto's from the P.P. output with 2n7000's or more compact, ULN2003 Darlington array.

sorry for misexplanation..
before I hook up to the machine, I'd like to test it first with all driver connected
of course I need actual isolated to protect my PC's.
Any idea Al? I've read on PMinMO look interesting

Also a you using Vero or other perf board, or actually etching a PCB?
If using Perf board then you could hardwire in the 25pin cable, if you download the sheets for the ULN2003 and 4n35 opto, it is a simple matter to connect them.
The input side of your opto could be taken off the 12v PC supply.
Often the opto output can go direct to your drives etc.
There is no need to make it too complicated.

Now I'm using perf board for a while. If I found a great source for schematic maybe I planning to etching a PCB later.

Okay Al, I try to connect this "messy" wire first

Try the link below, complete schematics. I am currently using it with Mach 2 & 3 and EMC2 for testing of a servo system. I plan on refining it, moving all components to top side, plus adding relays. The Bob is in the upper left.

Hope this helps,

I'm almost finished building the BOB Iron-man posted from parts in the bin. However I cannot find a 2N2222 tansistor. What would be a good compatible replacement?

Thanks

2N2222 is probably the most common utility transistor ever built. Any electronics house can help you find similar transistors.

Question

Iron-man,
I am little puzzled.
Does it have charge pump system on this schematic or not?
