I'm building a kit cnc router, and I find I have no desire to deal with the electronics. In fact, I'm hating even contemplating it. I have a G540 and a Mean Well SE-600-48 power supply, and I'd like to send that off to a company who will build me a control box with an estop and router relay. Is anyone aware of such a company/small business? |

| Several pages in on a google search for G540 control box I found this guy: http://www.seanet.com/~dmauch/Products2.htm, Dan Mauch. He responded to me promptly with a quote for installing my hardware into a control box with e-stop and two relays for router and dust control for $235, plus s&h. It's more than I want to spend, but doesn't sound unreasonable. (And yes, I did look into doing it myself, but looking at schematics gives me a headache! And they don't make any sense to me...) |

| Matt, I have never done business with Dan personally, but his reputation is stellar. If you take a look at the time it will take you to source the extra parts, time to make whatever you have to make, then assemble, the price he quoted is a bargin. That is not even including keeping the smoke in the box part! ![]() Mike
