ETD29 transformer core/bobbin needed

I found a kit I would like to build that requires a transformer bobbin/core. They list it as:

ETD29 transformer with 2 x 3C85 cores a 13-pin former and 2 retaining clips

I have not been able to locate this part in the US.
Can anyone point me to a retail seller for this part.
Thanks
george

George,
You must be looking at a fairly old design. I found a note from the year 2002...
"Most of the European tx designs utilize the (now defunct) 3C85 series of ferrite cores."
If it was defunct in 2002 I'm not sure you will be finding one except in salvage.

Steve,
Thanks for the reply and info. After reading your reply I checked ebay as I have found it a good source for old parts.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ETD29-ETD-Ferrit...item3a5a4875fa

The only info the article gave about the winding is:
Secondary winding of 45 turns of .25 mm enameled copper wire.
Primary winding is 4 turns of 14 x .20mm or 14 x .18 mm figure 8 cable

And since the author said it can output as much as 900 volts to the transducer I did not want to substitute a part that “may” work.

Article is in the Silicon Chip magazine.
