I'm looking for a solution for my Practical CNC problem. It seems the controller power supply is only putting out 7.7 volts (10.5 v when disconnected from motherboard) rather then the 48v its listed for. It has a Globtek gt sp-150-48 power supply installed. I cant seem to find this exact unit for sale and am wondering what a good replacement would be. |

| How many amps do you need? Keling had several different supplies that look pretty good. http://www.kelinginc.net/SwitchingPowerSupply.html

| I believe the 150 stands for 150watts, which if is not very much. Jameco have a 48v 240watt model. http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/sto...001_2094936_-1 Personally I would look at a linear supply if this is for steppers or servo's, much more rugged and fixable, should it fail. Al.
