Light house flashing circuit

My neighbor brought over his garden light house and asked me to fix it. He then asked if I could make the light do a "real" light house flsh with dim to bright flash, then to dim and out, repeat. After researching a LOT, I found this circuit.

My problem is, I can't find a LMC6442 op amp. Low voltage, low power. Punching in the data at Mouser got no hits and no substitutions. Any ideas?

Also I'd like to power this circuit with a single AA nicad recharged by the solar cell. I saw a link here for a voltage increasing single AA battery holder with a 5v output. I lost that link. Does anyone have a link to something similar?

Don't know about the 1.5V to 5V or the solar, happy hunting for those.

THANKS! it took a long time to find that circuit. Tons of On/Off circuits, but this is the only dim to flash bright, them dimming circuit out there that I could find.

Great circuit...

About the only way I could think of to reduce your current draw would be to use an ultra low power microcontroller to drive a FET with PWM for dimming.
